  The 4 axles of the Schwelmtal bridge are being renewed in 2 construction phases. In 2021, the first 4 piers will be renewed, followed by another 4 bridge piers in 2022.

  The spatial conditions severely restrict the work; in addition, the A1 carriageway over the piers is in operation.
